Stiletto Stool by Alexandre Boucher

The stiletto heel, other wise known as the 3+ inch tapered peg has become synonymous with high fashion. That style awareness could be extended to furniture and thus you have the High Heel Stool which I like to call the stiletto stool. The cushioned seat is supported by an impression of one large high heel. The stool itself is made of polyethylene and leather available in black, red and orange. The contrast made with the black “heel” and the transparent cylinder gives you the impression of it being near impossible to sit on without falling over.

The singer has recently admitted that she loves wearing high heels so much that she has become and addict: “I love those super-high shoes that are out at the moment. I’m addicted.” She also says that she likes going to photo shoots simply because there are so many free shoes: “I have been doing loads of photo shoots and they have all this stuff straight off the runway and this past few weeks there have been loads. I love a high heel.” Why, given her commercial success would she go to the trouble of going to a photo shoot for the free footwear when she can just buy her own factory? It’s good to see the world always makes so much sense.

Speed Walking In The Lamborghini Fashionable Womens High Heels

These Lamborghini Gallardo pumps were a design idea of Modo illustrator Tim Cooper and were meant to represent a future product for Tonino Lamborghini.

The designs were based on the work of Gallardo Superleggera. Although interesting, I can’t see these high heels being used as formal footwear. Perhaps if you’re attending a car show, you might want to sport something with a car theme, but outside of that, I would think these would get limited use.

The new high heels were to include carbon fiber heels but for now, the product has been shelved and this remains a conceptual design.

High Tide Heels

Known as High Tide Heels, they combine the elegance of stiletto heels with the swimming speed of flippers. They could provide a fashionable alternative for sun-seekers who don't want the hassle of changing footwear every time they cool off with dip in the sea.
But don't expect to see thousands of tourists ditching their flip flops and sandals in favour of High Tide Heels this year. The shoes were created by the Belgian artist Paul Schietekat for an exhibition in 2006, and there are not thought to be any plans to release them commercially.
